The Citizen Office proactively works with citizens and City staff to ensure that public participation is a key component of City-led projects and programs. Citizen involvement results in improved services and a greater level of citizen support and approval. This is achieved by coordinating efforts among City Departments and the 311 Call Center to ensure timely and accurate response to citizen inquiry, and most importantly, our citizenry.
The Citizen Office places special emphasis on downtown by providing planning, code enforcement, cleanliness and maintenance efforts. The Downtown Services division works with the downtown citizenry to develop and encourage partnerships designed to enhance downtown cleanliness.
The Citizen Office is comprised of the Downtown Services Team, 311 Call Center, and Citizen Specialists:
Our Downtown Services Team is responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, and enforcement of city codes.
The 311 Call Center reports and directs citizen inquires, problems, and work orders.
Our Citizen Specialists work with citizens to develop and implement projects and policies that improve quality of life
