Tennis Program
Open play and organized tennis activities for adults and juniors, including seniors, are offered year-round at city facilities. Information to participate in specific organized activities is posted at Bacon Park and Daffin Park Tennis Complexes. Please look into a specific activity more than a month in advance for the best opportunity to participate. Assistance is provided to help place new players on teams if additional players are needed.

Fall programs with the United States Tennis League/Savannah Area Tennis Association are underway. The USTA/SATA Ladies league plays on Saturday with 15 teams participating in the league. The USTA/SATA Men’s league plays on Monday through Thursday evenings with 15 teams in the league.

The Ladies Thursday morning league began its Fall league on September 2 and has 16 teams playing in the league. The USTA/SATA Senior leagues, women’s division began its Fall league on September 3 and plays on Friday mornings. There are 8 teams participating in the league. The Men’s division plays on Saturday mornings with 3 teams participating in the league. The USTA/SATA Mixed Doubles league will play on Sunday afternoons beginning in November with approximately 17 teams expected to participate. The USTA Senior Mixed Doubles league plays at Daffin on Sunday afternoons with 2 teams participating in the league.

Located at 6262 Skidaway Road, the Bacon Park Tennis Complex offers 16 lighted, supervised hard courts. They are open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Phone: (912) 351-3850.

The Daffin Park Tennis Complex, located at 1001 E. Victory Drive, offers six supervised clay courts and three lighted hard courts. They are open Monday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Phone: (912) 351-3851.

Unsupervised city tennis courts that are free to the public can be found at the following locations in the city:

Carver Heights at 905 Collat Street
Cloverdale Playground at Cloverdale & Eleanor Streets
Forrest Hills Playground at Skidaway & Berkshire Roads
Forsyth Park at Drayton & Park Avenue
