The Housing Department serves the entire City of Savannah, but listed below are some highlighted projects that are making an impact.
This 44 acre neighborhood redevelopment will include over 500 housing units, including 120 single-family homes, at full build-out. The site includes 5 acres of green space, and every building in the neighborhood will be Earthcraft certified.

Neighborhood Stabilization Program
Through participation in the federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program the Housing Department and its partners have demolished nearly 100 dilapidated structures for redevelopment, and financed the construction of 24 affordable housing units.

Veterans Homeownership Assistance
The Housing Department connects qualified veterans and active duty members of the U.S. military, or their surviving spouses, to grant funds to purchase or improve their homes.
