Office of the City Manager
I am pleased to welcome you to the City of Savannah website. Savannah is recognized as one of the world’s most unique travel destinations, and for good reason. Our community is stunningly beautiful and historically alive, with our picturesque squares, cobblestoned streets, centuries-old homes, active waterfront and impressive urban forest.
But people plant roots here because we are one of America’s most livable cities. Our neighborhoods are strong, each with its own unique personality. Our recreation and cultural opportunities are plentiful and our residents are annually named among the friendliest in America.
We have emerged as a preferred center for business because of this superior quality of life, in addition to a highly educated workforce; impressive logistics including integrated rail, interstates, airport, and one of the busiest ports in the nation. We have a diverse economy that includes strong manufacturing, emerging tech startups, a $2.3 billion hospitality industry, and one of the largest aerospace companies in the world.
At City Hall, we strive to reflect the culture of excellence and innovation that we see all around us. Everything we do is focused on better serving and enhancing the lives of our residents, businesses and visitors. I encourage you to
