Lead Safe Work Practice Certification Program

RENOVATION, REPAIR AND PAINTING PROGRAM (RRP)

EPA's Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP Rule) requires that firms performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities and pre-schools built before 1978 have their firm certified by EPA (or an EPA authorized state, such as Georgia), use certified renovators who are trained by an EPA/Georgia-approved training provider and follow lead-safe work practices.

Training will be done thru National Environmental Solutions/Trainer Bonnie Maurras

This is a 8 hour class which includes 6 hours of lecture, 2 hours of hands-on training, and a 30 question multiple choice exam. You will receive a course manual, a cleaning verification (CV) card, and a Thumb Drive that includes all of the necessary lead forms to work in target housing & child occupied facilities. By the end of the day you will have an in-depth understanding of lead-safe work practices, containment, clean-up protocol and recordkeeping. After passing the exam you will receive a training certificate of course completion which will satisfy EPA and GA EPD/RRP.

This 8 hour accredited RRP class is worth 6 CEU Credits and is good for 3 years in Georgia and 5 years in an EPA authorized state (Fl, SC, TN)
