October 16th City Council Workshop
Click the link here to view a video of the 10/16/2014 City Council workshop regarding Project DeRenne and Hampstead Avenue. This workshop session reviewed citizen concerns and ideas regarding the 'Boulevard Option' brought forth during the February 25th 'Public Information Open House', May 7th Field Exercise, and other recent citizen engagement meetings.

With the excellent ideas gathered from our citizenry and help from the Federal Highway Administration, Georgia Department of Transportation and City Staff- Project DeRenne continues to show progress through continued cooperation and citizen engagement.

May 7th Field Exercise
In response to citizen concerns brought forth at the February 25th  "Public Open House "meeting, Savannah City Council requested a field exercise be held on site of the proposed Boulevard's route (Hampstead Avenue) on Wednesday, May 7th.
Field Excercise PhOTO
The Federal Highway Administration, Georgia Department of Transportation, project consults, and City staff officials were all present to record and discuss the impacts brought forth at the February 25th public meeting.

After review of all the residential concerns primarily focus around the Boulevard Option and Hampstead Avenue, City Staff is hoping to present options to City Council on how to mediate the concerns within the next few weeks.
