The City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs presents art camp for students up to age 12 during the summer break. Limited volunteer internship opportunities are available for teens ages 13-18.

Full day art camp is offered to students ages 6-12. Full day camp students participate in five arts classes a day. The classes may include ceramics, mixed media, puppetry, jewelry, fused glass, improv, music, or dance. All classes are taught by professional artists and art teachers. Friday afternoons parents are invited to view their children's works in a gallery exhibition or watch a performing arts presentation. Camp hours are 9am - 4:30pm.

Camp fees, $150/$140 city resident, include all supplies and instructor fees. All instructors are certified art instructors and/or professional artists. Children are divided into age-appropriate groups of no more than ten students per instructor. A non-spoiling bag lunch must be provided daily for full day sessions and a snack for half-day sessions.
