Tours and Educational Opportunities
Water Supply and Treatment
The Savannah Industrial and Domestic Water Plant, built in 1947 has been designated an American Water Works Association (AWWA) Landmark. As one of the few surface water treatment facilities in the area, it's a popular field trip destination, and the City frequently opens the plant's doors to schools and universities for tours. Tours may also be scheduled for community groups and organizations.

Water Reclamation Department
The President Street facility is open for tours daily. Tours are scheduled for various elementary, middle, and high schools. Additionally, operations personnel conduct tours for various universities and corporations.
