Symposium to focus on business lending opportunities in Savannah

Local business owners can hear from bank experts about strategies to navigate the post-recession commercial lending process during the May 22 Accessing Business Capital (ABC) Symposium.

The ABC Symposium will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St. Officials from Savannah’s lending institutions will speak about the state of commercial lending in Savannah, and be on hand to assist in developing your business financing strategy.

The event is sponsored by the City of Savannah’s Department of Economic Development, in collaboration with the Small Business Assistance Corporation, Coastal Area District Development Authority, Small Business Development Center and local area banks.

It is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Please RSVP by calling the Department of Economic Development at (912) 651-3653 or emailing rdavis03@savannahga.gov by noon Monday, May 21.
