| What department handles property acquisitions for the City? |

|
| Real Property Services (RPS) identifies and purchases property for office space, recreational space, open space and road and drainage purposes. The department manages citizen petitions (requests) for easements, encroachments, and sells surplus City-owned property. RPS also acquires property for the development of affordable housing in Community Development target neighborhoods. |
