Tree Maintenance Responsibilities
Trees on cemetery lots are the responsibility of the owner(s) of the burial rights. Any maintenance or removal must be done at the owner’s expense. Trees in which the trunks are situated on more than one lot may be the responsibility of multiple owners. The maintenance or removal of trees more than six (6) inches in diameter at four and one-half (4 ½) feet above the grade on lots, must be performed by a licensed tree service contractor with proof of insurance and bonding. The City will maintain trees in which the trunk is partially or wholly on City property. |
