As interment rights to cemetery lots in Sections U and S became exhausted, the final section of Bonaventure Cemetery, Section T, was developed in 2003. The site was surveyed and 6-space cemetery lots were laid out in blocks mirroring the blocks in Section S. 12-space roadside lots were also laid out. Each lot was marked with metal disks and several blocks have been opened for sale.

Section T is located on the southern tip of Bonaventure and is a nice open area with massive moss-draped live oak trees. Scrub trees, vines and wild growth were cleared along the wood line creating a vista toward the Wilmington River with the Thunderbolt Bridge. Many customers choose these lots simply to have interment rights in the world famous historical Bonaventure Cemetery.
