About SGTV Channel 8
Stay informed about your local government with SGTV's award-winning programming. Watch City Council meetings, learn about City programs, view events coverage, and see job listings. Channel 8 provides non-political, non-editorial direct information to citizens concerning operations and programs of City government - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To request a DVD of a program you've seen on SGTV, please call (912) 651-6410. A small fee is associated with this service. Savannah Government Television is not a "public access" channel, and individuals and community groups and organizations are encouraged to utilize other media outlets for dissemination of information.

SGTV's flagship show brings you the latest news from around the City.  Serving Savannah/Behind the Scenes
Approximately 2,700 City of Savannah employees serve our citizens on a daily basis. Each brings a unique set of skills and talents to his or her job. Serving Savannah takes a behind-the- scenes look at these dedicated individuals as they perform their daily tasks. A different employee or department is usually featured each month, with a new program typically airing the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm.
