City Partners with Google to Provide Business, Tech Training

SAVANNAH, GA (April 12, 2018) — The City of Savannah is partnering with Google to launch an entirely free, all-day workshop to provide business and digital skills training.

The one day event will be broken into two sessions. The morning session will offer workshops for small businesses on search engine optimization, creating a business listing online, and more. The afternoon session will offer workshops on learning digital skills such as email, spreadsheets, and presentations, and resume building. Both workshops will be in an engaging classroom setting, where laptops and WiFi will be provided at no cost.

Grow with Google was created to help all Americans access the best of Google’s tools, training and expertise to grow their skills, job prospects, small businesses, and futures. Grow with Google aims to support the workforce of today, and the students who will create the workforce of tomorrow.
