Keep the Savannah Fire wreath green

During the 2016 Holiday Season there were fires in 28 Savannah Homes — that’s one fire ever other day in November and December.

Savannah Fire wants every family to have a fire-free 2017 holiday season. We will release a safety tip for every day of the holiday season and hang a fire safety reminder wreath outside Savannah Fire headquarters, 121 E. Oglethorpe Avenue.

The wreath will be decorated with green bulbs representing the bureau’s goal of zero fires between November 20, 2017 to January 2, 2018. Each time a fire occurs a green bulb will be replaced with a red bulb. Follow the fire safety tips and help us keep the wreath green.
